Triple treat as Rollickin’ Gelato expands
Rollickin’ Gelato’s out-the-gate flavours and out-thedoor queues are legendary.
After six years of successful scooping, founder Jed Joyce and his team are excited to have opened a third location.
The new Cashel St shop features a ‘‘fish bowl’’ kitchen, all-weather outdoor seating and, of course, plenty of desserts.
Tried and much-loved gelato flavours are on offer alongside seasonal scoops.
One recent flavour, Sven’s Stroopwaffle, featured salty caramel gelato, folded with thick caramel sauce and snapped stroopwafels.
All the gelato is made in-house with organic milk, and mixed-in cakes, biscuits and ripples are homemade with real ingredients, too.
At the new shop, you can enjoy a scoop while you watch the concoctions come to life in the kitchen.
With more room to create now, who knows what Rollickin’ will do next?
Rumours of a possible sweet breakfast menu, fried gelato and more are in the air.
