Protesters miss bigger picture

-

I’m all for someone’s right to join in with a good protest march – under the right conditions, that is. Given that the current Covid-19 restrictions around gatherings place a limit of 100 people, the righteous ire as shown on Monday by thousands of protesters in support of the Black Lives Matter movement appears to have been somewhat mismanaged.

Recently, everything seems to have gone online. Why not protests? I guess when a particular victim is held up as a figurehead for social protest, the lives of other people are considered not as valuable.

I understand the protesters. But when it comes to the matter of protecting lives, they’re missing the bigger picture.
