Princess of Wales spotted in farm shop

-

The Princess of Wales has been filmed by a member of the public visiting the farm shop in Windsor, talking and smiling as she continues her recovery from surgery, amid worldwide conspiracy theories.

The Princess is shown looking healthy and back on her feet, following abdominal surgery in January. She was filmed accompanied by husband William as they walked through the car park of the Windsor Farm Shop. Their children were not in view.

Kensington Palace has repeatedly said the princess is “doing well”, but her health and whereabouts have been the subject of global intrigue spread by social media.

The princess is known to have been gradually getting out and about in private, including watching her children play sports and going to their school.

The member of the public who filmed her sold the footage to The Sun newspaper and US celebrity website TMZ.

Residents flock to the farm shop, which was the idea of the late Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, to buy locally sourced goods and produce from the royal estates.

The princess has not been seen on public engagement since Christmas Day, when she walked to Sandringham church with her family.

On January 16, she went into hospital for planned abdominal surgery, with a statement from the palace then saying she would be out of the public eye until “after Easter”.

She has since been recuperating at home, releasing a Mother’s Day photograph of her alongside Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis which later turned out to have been digitally manipulated.

There have been growing conspiracy theories about her whereabouts, ranging from the ridiculous to the troubling, repeated online and by overseas media.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussexes’ profiles have been shortened on the royal family’s website.

The couple’s biographies have been amalgamated and made significantly shorter. Their joint page now begins with the statement announcing that they stepped back as working royals in January 2020. They now live in the United States.

Lengthy individual profiles that previously spanned multiple pages have been combined into a single page.

Buckingham Palace sources insisted the changes, were part of a “routine website update” and were not related to the couple’s own brand development.
