Mossburn celebrates 125 years

Registrations are open for the Mossburn School and Districts 125th jubilee.

Mossburn School and District jubilee function committee member Pete Turner said the jubilee was being held from April 6 to 8.

It would include several events to show off what Mossburn had to offer and to celebrate the area’s long history.

The weekend would also allow current and past district members to catch up and share memories of their time in Mossburn, he said.

Events would include a tree planting, burying a time capsule, a children’s disco, a formal function and a top town-style competition.
