Tourist unhurt in crash

A 29-year-old Chinese tourist was not injured when he crashed a rental car on the GlenorchyP­aradise Rd. Senior Constable Chris Blackford, of Queenstown, said that at 4.15pm on Wednesday the man lost control of the car, which hit a tree and rolled. Police issued him with an offence notice. At 3.20am yesterday a group of men were found injured in Beach St. The men had cuts to their faces and were lying in the street. They were taken to Lakes District Hospital. The men declined to make statements.
