In my beauty bag

-

Imogene Bevan, founder of Pop Nails & Beauty, is a former makeup artist who’s now immersed in the world of nail art. Here are her makeup must-haves. SKIN I use Osmosis. I cleanse with Purify and follow with Calm serum and Quench moisturiser. I do these three steps morning and night, without fail. Shade by Osmosis is SPF30 and I use it every morning. I re-apply a couple of times during the day if I’m spending a lot of time in the sun. MAKEUP I have been raiding Mum’s makeup bag for as long as I can remember. In my handbag, Silk Osmosis Treatment Concealer is a must. It has a hydrating stick that is amazing under the eyes – it just glides on. I also use Karen Murrell lipsticks. I have her True Love stashed in every handbag I own. NAILS I love nail polish. The possibilities are endless. I have been working as a makeup artist for a while and it was just a natural progression to get into nails. I love the nail art side of it — nails are perfect little canvases. Artistic Colour Gloss is my favourite gel polish. It is such an incredible medium; shiny and long lasting. I love a long almond-shaped nail with a pinky-nude polish. Artistic Colour Gloss has a colour called Elegance that I am obsessed with — I have been pairing it with a single rose gold metallic strip down the middle of the nail and it looks very clean and feminine. My manicure pet hate is a nail shape called ‘duck feet’ (Google it!) that is popular in the USA. It is so nasty. FRAGRANCE & BODY I’ve just got a bottle of Karen Walker’s ‘A’ and I am in love. Its scent is very fresh and clean. For body, I love the Sans Ceuticals products. The Activator 7 Hair, Body and Face Oil is an everyday must for me.
