Walker joins ACT campaign

Southland businessman Basil Walker has been selected by ACT as a candidate for the 2020 general election. ‘‘I am campaigning to raise ACT’s party vote in Southland. I steadfastly support all facets of rural New Zealand food production, employment, tourism, education and construction,’’ he said. Act leader David Seymour said he was pleased Walker was joining the team to wave the flag for the political party in Southland.
