Hartley wins in Portugal

Brendon Hartley extended his lead in the World Endurance Championship with a victory in Portugal yesterday. Hartley and co-drivers Kazuki Nakajima and Sebastien Buemi won a tight finish from their Toyota sister car on team orders to claim the 8 Hours of Portimao race. It was their second consecutive win, a timely victory that came in Toyota’s 100th World Championship sportscar start since its Group C debut in the 1983 Fuji 1000km race.
