White Ribbon’s Flip the Script campaign will tour parts of the south including Gore and Te Anau as the journey runs from November 13 to 26. South Island Ride leader Colin Agnew said adults needed to encourage boys to be respectful, to be supportive, ethical and friendly. ‘‘We need our young men to know it’s ok to cry and show emotion, that it is awesome to show that you care.’’ For more information on the White Ribbon movement go to whiteribbon.org.nz
