Yesterday’s front page story, Bell under fire at first council meeting, referred to the employment of Gore mayor Ben Bell’s existing personal assistant, Shanna Crosbie. The council was discussing whether it should create a new role – that of executive assistant for the mayor.

The current living wage is $23.65, not $23.05 as reported in yesterday’s story Living wage ‘a matter of fairness’.
