A Timaru man, 21, driving his car at 135km/h on SH1 in Seadown failed to stop for police on Sunday and after a short pursuit he was caught behind Rooney’s building. The car was impounded.

A 20-year-old man was arrested for offensive behaviour after urinating in the door way of a shop next to the Turkish Kebab shop on Stafford St in the early hours of Sunday morning.
