We shouldn’t be consuming chemicals

-

I write in reply to Ken Perrott’s letter on May 15, regarding what I see as his prolonged attack on any person wishing to dispute his ideology with regard to man-made sodium fluoride.

Mr Perrott continues to parrot on about the quality of Hamilton’s municipal water supply, openly admitting to the chemicals contained within the water. For example, lead concentrations 500 times that contributed by fluoridating chemicals. The equivalent figures for arsenic are 1700 times, cadmium 222 times and mercury more than 400 times.

It appears to me he has very little concern for the health of consumers, as all of the above chemicals are listed as deadly poisons thereby dangerous to health.

In my opinion he should be advocating the complete cessation of the addition of man-made sodium fluoride being added to the water supply to ensure that the consumers are taking into their bodies less, not more, of these dangerous chemicals.

As all of the above chemicals are contained in man-made sodium fluoride, increasing the amount consumed would be a particularly deadly practice in my view.

I would ask Mr Perrott from which country of origin does New Zealand sodium fluoride derive, or where it is manufactured in NZ?

If sodium fluoride is manufactured within NZ, from where do the manufacturers acquire their supplies of those chemicals required to manufacture man-made sodium fluoride.

If Mr Perrott takes the time to read the New Zealand Journal of Natural Medicine he may be aghast at the facts supplied. Your fluoride comes from China and it’s laced with heavy metals. By Anga V, April 26, 2015, May-August 2017. Highest levels found (in parts per billion) aluminium 283.218 ppb, arsenic 137 ppb, strontium 9.417 ppb, lead 988 ppb, uranium 1.415 ppb, tungsten presence confirmed in two of six samples but quantitative analysis not conducted in tungsten. (Average levels found in parts per billions) aluminum 69.364 ppb, arsenic 70 ppb, strontium 1.751ppb lead; 299 ppb uranium; 239 ppb.

I would request that Mr Perrott supply for all to see from where he gained his Doctors’ degree and what degrees he actually does have, particularly any he may have regards toxicology or chemistry.

In my own opinion he does not appear to understand the impending dangers of these chemicals he promotes for water fluoridation, or the true dangers to all consumers’ health they pose to the community. Timaru
