Fundraisin­g garage sale: 9am12.30pm at St Joseph’s Church Hall on Denmark St, Temuka. The Salvation Army Disaster Appeal will benefit, to help those affected by the fires in Australia.

Waimate Museum Open Day: 11am-3pm at the Waimate Museum & Archives on Shearman St. A steam engine will be running alongside market stalls and a barbecue.
