Incidents reported to police at the weekend included:

■ A 29-year-old woman was stopped for drinkdrivi­ng on Evans St at 8pm on Friday. The woman blew 1367mcgs into a breathalys­er more than five times the legal limit. A police spokespers­on said the woman had been approached earlier by a member of the public at Timaru’s BP service station, who tried to take the woman’s keys off her. Police were alerted after the woman drove off.

■ Two woman were arrested for detox outside the Richard Pearse Tavern overnight on Friday. Both were released after detox.

■ A person was arrested on Friday on a warrant for not appearing in court on a drink-driving charge.

■ A driven vehicle crashed into a stationary vehicle on James St on Saturday evening. A police spokespers­on said no-one was injured.

■ A 31-year-old man was stopped for drinkdrivi­ng on Buchanan St on Saturday evening. The man blew 294mcgs into a breathalys­er.

■ A suspicious vehicle leaving an industrial building in Washdyke failed to stop for police on Saturday evening. A police spokespers­on said Police did not pursue the small Honda hatchback.

■ A 17-year-old youth was arrested for driving while suspended on Le Cren St at 11pm on Saturday.

■ A 28-year-old man was arrested for disorder and being belligeren­t outside the Richard Pearse Tavern at 12.30am on Saturday night.

■ A 30-year-old man was arrested on a warrant outside the Richard Pearse Tavern at 2am on Sunday.

■ A 35-year-old man was arrested for breaching a protection order and damaging property on Raymond St at 3.30am yesterday.

■ A 35-year-old man was arrested for breaching home detention at 8.30am yesterday.
