Council praise

-

There are too often complaints about the service offered by the

Timaru District Council. In this case I would like to say how impressed we are with the council and in particular parks and reserves.

We asked if some large trees on council land adjacent to our property could perhaps be removed, allowing a lot more light and warmth into our property.

We didn’t hold out much hope of anything being done but, true to their word, a team rolled up within a week and the trees have been removed, chipped and the site left tidy.

We were very impressed with the service and thought it only fair to make that known. Too many write to complain so it is good to be able to do the opposite. A big thanks also to the Sicon team who did the felling. They were most efficient and kept garden damage to a minimum. Lesley Fallon Geraldine
