Man goes missing

Police are seeking the whereabouts of an 84-year-old Timaru man who went missing from his home on Wednesday afternoon. Robert (no last name provided by police), went missing about 2pm and is believed to be driving his white 1991 Ford Econovan, registration PY1475. Police said Robert was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black shoes. He is approximately 176cm (5 feet 8 inches), has short grey hair, and wears glasses. ‘‘This is out of character for Robert. His family are worried and would like him home,’’ the police said.
