■ A Timaru man was arrested on Thursday for breach of bail. Sergeant Sam Winchester said the man turned himself in at the police station.

■ A Timaru woman was arrested for historic theft on Thursday.

■ A 42-year-old man was arrested for assault at 8.25pm on Thursday in Pleasant Point.

■ A vehicle crash was reported to police at 5.15am yesterday. Winchester said the vehicle collided with a parked vehicle and overturned. The driver had fled the scene.
