Car park offences admitted

A 25-year-old man admitted three charges related to an incident on October 13 in the Richard Pearse Tavern’s car park but denied three other charges from the same event when he appeared in the Timaru District Court yesterday. Bronson McCloy, of Timaru, was convicted for disorderly behaviour, resisting police and possessing cannabis but pleaded not guilty before Judge Dominic Dravitzki to three charges of assaulting police officers. McCloy was remanded on bail for a case review hearing on January 17s.
