Police notebook

■ A Timaru man was stopped on Otipua Rd at 2am on Tuesday because of his manner of driving. Sergeant Kevin McErlain said the man blew 502 micrograms on the breathalyser test and was summonsed to court.

■ At 1.30am on Tuesday, a Timaru man was stopped by police on Otipua Rd. McErlain said the man was driving while forbidden and his car was impounded.

■ A 34-year-old Timaru woman was stopped in Timaru at 8.10pm on Tuesday and was found to be a suspended driver. McErlain said the woman has been summonsed to court.
