Street work wins award

-

Landscape work in Fairlie’s main street that is more than 20 years old has won a New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects award. The work, undertaken in 2000 by the Mackenzie District Council, Waka Kotahi and WSP (previously Opus), won an award in the enduring landscape category announced at the NZILA’s 50th conference. This award looks at a piece of landscape work which is over 20 years old, in the context of how it has aged and how it is still performing.
