Tour bus injured leave hospitals

One person is in hospital and 14 people have been discharged after a speeding car crashed into a tour bus and police patrol car at Warkworth on State Highway 1. One person was killed and 16, including a police officer, were taken to hospital following the crash about 6pm on Saturday. The bus had been carrying about 40 people. North Shore and Auckland hospitals later confirmed only 15 people were brought into their emergency departments. A Waitematā DHB spokesperson confirmed it treated 13 people and Auckland City Hospital spokesperson said it treated two people, one still remaining in a stable condition.
