Paris Can Wait
Starring Diane Lane, Arnaud Viar. Director Eleanor Coppola.
What should have been a charming road-trip romance becomes an arduous journey where picture postcard scenery and fine dining serve as a substitute for any plot originality or character development. Worthy of note though is that it is Eleanor Coppola’s feature-film debut at the age of 80, although she co-directed the 1991 documentary Hearts Of Darkness: A Filmmaker’s Apocalypse, based on footage she shot on the set of her husband’s Apocalypse Now. ★★
