STAR LETTER

The TV Guide - - MR TELLY - May Day (Greymouth)

May I, along with many other very happy viewers, express our happiness about the Anzac Day coverage on M ori TV. Never has the taxpayer dollar been put to better use. The entire coverage was clear, informative, technically excellent and inspirational. Unfortunately, the rest of our viewing, apparently, now remorselessly returns to – Saturday: Endless repeats of grindingly dull items; Sunday: More repeats; Monday: Even more of the same; Tuesday: Repeat = recalculate; Wednesday: Repeats and rigor mortis; Thursday: Repeats. “The person who lets himself be bored is more contemptible than the bore” – Sam Butler; Friday: Repeats – reiterated. The result of a diet of repeats is a technicolour yawn. Please bring back originality.
