Father Brown in seventh heaven

Prayers have been answered with BBC crime drama Father Brown being given the green light for a seventh season. Returning alongside lead actor Mark Williams will be series regulars Mrs McCarthy (Sorcha Cusack), Inspector Mallory (Jack Deam) and Bunty Windermere (Emer Kenny). The BBC teases that a ‘familiar face’ will appear in the Cotswolds just as a killer is spotted in the area. A date for the series has not yet been released.
