Island of despair
New Zealand TV is hitting new lows with the show Heartbreak Island (TVNZ 2, Monday-Wednesday). I believe other countries have similar programmes but I say leave them to it. Why do we have to copy other countries when the format of this show is so terrible? To rate people just on their looks sends an appalling message to the young people of New Zealand. I felt so sorry for those contestants who had no votes and were told they were the least popular. It was like being bullied in a school playground. I, for one, will not be watching this show again.
