Peter Rabbit
Starring James Corden, Rose Byrne. Director Will Gluck. This throwback to childhood is let down by silly jokes, huge plot holes and rushing through certain scenes. But while Peter Rabbit is not quite the funny bunny we remember, it’s still light-hearted fun and a good, if modern, way to introduce children to Beatrice Potter’s work. James Corden burrows into his inner child and takes time out from his late-night hosting duties to voice a surprisingly nasty Peter Rabbit. Great fun for kids, even if the human actors don’t quite mesh with the animations.
