Lovely Wendy fades to grey

The TV Guide - - MR TELLY - L. Stephen (Tauranga)

I just love Wendy Petrie and the clear and pleasant manner in which she presents the news every night at 6pm on TVNZ 1. She is a lovely looking young woman but why, oh why, does she wear such awful clothes? The plainest of styles (no accessories or jewellery) and, oh dear, the colours – black, brown, navy, maroon, dark green, occasionally white or beige and very often grey, which seems to be her favourite colour. Grey is a most unhappy colour. (When the weather is bad we say it is a “grey day”.) It is also a very unflattering colour. Come on, Wendy. Lighten up. It is spring. Could we see you in bright colours? Perhaps floral or geometric prints. Maybe spots or stripes but, above all, no more grey.
