Emmerdale falling behind

I am a huge Emmerdale fan and we have a huge following here in New Zealand. I’ve been dismayed for the past year to watch us fall further and further behind the UK. TVNZ seems to be unconcerned that we will soon be in a place where it won’t be possible to catch up as happened with Coro. The UK plays an extra episode a week. We’ve had no catch-ups let alone any attempt to screen more episodes on a regular basis. The last episode here screened in the UK in early June. Why is this happening when all day we have several game shows shown twice with repeats and repeats of Ellen? Do something for your viewers, TVNZ, before it’s too late.
