Well, he’s a minnow compared to the beast in The Meg, a 23-metre-long prehistoric shark believed to have been extinct for millions of years. A bit of a departure here for Statham who pairs up with Chinese starlet Li Bingbing for some good old-fashioned B-movie mayhem. ★★★
