He is no longer the rookie of the title, as season four has John Nolan (Nathan Fillion) promoted up the ranks of the police. This season also features comedian Pete Davidson reprising his role as Nolan’s brother, also named Pete.

Comedian Kenan Thompson hosts this year’s annual celebration of the best of television. Among this year’s nominees is Kiwi actor Melanie Lynskey for her performance in the drama Yellowjackets.

Mike McRoberts (below) shares his journey to reclaim his M ori heritage and language in this documentary. In a piece he wrote for TV Guide, McRoberts shared the pressures of trying to learn to speak te reo as an adult and as a person who is M ori. “But what I also understand now is that I’m not alone. There are thousands, maybe tens of thousands, of New Zealanders in the same waka.” Story p8.

Celebrating Te Wiki o te Reo M ori and the 50th anniversary of the M ori language petition being presented on the steps of Parliament, this documentary chronicles the history of te reo M ori, from the dominant language of Aotearoa to its suppression by colonialists and the long road to the current era of revitalisation.
