Looking for a chance to have fun, make friends and stretch your knowledge? There’s no better place to find all three than at a Tuesday Quiz Night at Waiheke RSA.

Now in its fourth year, the RSA’S famous quiz evenings are back for 2018 and promising to be better than ever.

Brought to the Island by Waiheke RSA (with sponsorship from Stuff), and hosted by the ever-popular MC Tania Farquhar the quiz nights run every Tuesday from 7pm, with a $5 entry fee.

‘‘It’s a great way to get the mind working and have a lot of fun at the same time,’’ enthuses RSA committee member Janice Scott.

While filled with regular teams, the group is very welcoming and friendly, and are always ready to invite new people in to try their luck against the ever-changing quiz topics.

Why not bring your friends, family or workmates and give it a go? All ages and stages are welcome and you don’t even need a team, says Janice – if you just turn up, the RSA can place you in a group.

Not only known for the Quiz Nights, Waiheke RSA is a buzz of activity and entertainment throughout the week, from line-dancing on Tuesday mornings to the weekly club nights every Friday.

Don’t miss the March musical goodness at the clubrooms, starting with with singer Benjamin Owen (a finalist in last year’s Waiheke RSA’S Voice competition) giving his final Waiheke performance on Friday March 2. The following day on Saturday March 3, male choir V12 will be performing from 7.30pm, with a $10 cover charge

Whether enjoying a delicious meal at the Red Poppy Restaurant before the Tuesday quiz, playing darts or pool in the Games Room or catching a band or live sport on the TVS, Waiheke RSA is the place to be for good times in a safe, welcoming and family-friendly venue.

Located at 29 Belgium Street, Ostend, it’s open seven days from 11am, with the Red Poppy Restaurant open Tuesday to Saturday, 12 to 2pm, for lunch; and Tuesday to Sunday, 5.30 to 9pm, for dinner.
