The Waihi back-country danced to music this Labour weekend.
On Saturday night the adventure camp at Dickey Flat was overtaken with funky electronic beats as an epic line-up of local DJs played through the Retro Rich Sound System and the chaos of lights and laser at the Bass Land doof party.
Event organiser Dhruva Reid says the mini festival, which took place from Saturday night to Sunday, was a success.
“The crowd largely consisted of mature fun-loving individuals and the sell-out event was a success.
“I hope to accommodate all those who missed out on tickets next time around,” he said.
