Paeroa’s annual fireworks display celebrates 30 years
The rain did not deter visitors enjoying the annual Paeroa fireworks display, organised by Paeroa Lions.
From 5pm, food stalls and children’s rides were set up at the Domain and school children performing kapa haka.
Later many walked up Primrose Hill to enjoy the fireworks at 8.30pm.
The event is part of a fundraiser to finish the Cancer Lodge in Hamilton for people who are having treatment for cancer. Family members will also be able to stay to support them.
