TOTO Double Pass – performing at ASB Bay Park in Mount Maunganui on January 9 with Jefferson Starship and Dragon.

-

Yes folks, TOTO are returning to New Zealand and we’re giving you the chance to one of two double passes for you to catch their live show in Mt Maunganui.

What a wonderful way to spend a summers day.

The TOTO tour will be the first in what will be an annual summer concert series called ‘A Summer’s Day Live’, which will feature major international artists from the past four decades.

And what a way to start the ball rolling.

Founded in 1976 by some of the most popular and experienced session musicians of the era, Toto had immediate commercial success and critical acclaim.

Look out for all the hits that made them famous including Africa, Rosanna, Hold The Line, Georgy Porgy and I Won’t Hold You Back and a touching nod to former member Jeff Porcaro and Beatle George Harrison and maybe a little bit of Weezer. With a musical style that combines elements of pop, rock, soul, funk, progressive rock, hard rock, R&B and jazz they have something for everyone and are guaranteed to have you dancing in the aisles.

The addition of Jefferson Starship to the line-up brings such great hits as We Built This City, Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now, Sara, Volunteers, White Rabbit, Wooden Ships, Somebody To Love,

Today, Miracles, Count on Me, Fast Buck Freddie, Jane and Find Your Way Back to the table

Kiwi icons Dragon have carved a notch in our musical history with such great hits as Young Years, Rain, Still In Love With You, Are You Old Enough, April Sun In Cuba, Celebration and Speak No Evil.

With Mark Williams now lead singer, his big hit Show No Mercy and Age Of Reason which was cowritten by Dragon’s Todd Hunter and was a No. 1 hit single for John Farnham are sure to feature.

What better reason to cross the Kaimais.
