In marketing terms, the word landmark is a statement that - by definition - is intended to catch attention. Landmark Homes couldn’t have picked it better. Building homes of distinction, Landmark sets out to be noticed – setting trends in the process.

This brand new home sits in Cambridge’s lifestyle Pukekura development. With around 2,500 square metres of land – it lent to a house of substance. This embraces more than 300sqm spacious luxury, plus intimate outdoor flow that’s designed around entertainment, relaxation and extra detail.

Te Kuiti stone makes a dramatic statement of its own in exteriors features. It’s seen first in the home’s entry. But around the back – where the loggia is centre stage – it defines this area. Complete with gabled roofing and rafter inset, this loggia is an extension of the internal family living space. It is well in proportion to the lofty 3.3m high ceilings that this central hub enjoys. There is a space everyone in this home. A separate lounge features a custom-made door – which is double-glazed for acoustics. There is also a rumpus room in the kids’ wing. Extraordinary living space.

The kitchen is a design masterpiece, with granite adding a touch of class, quality and permanence to this space. Cabinetry is full height; appliances are all high-end and there is a full scullery for a second workplace and pantry storage. The essential kitchen island is a natural drawcard, while seamless flow moves from formal dining and family relaxation to the barbecue lounge outside. The barbecue follows the trend of a kitchenette, with an under-bench fridge, sink and storage – always at the ready with equipment on hand.

An exceptional feature in the kitchen sits in an alcove on its own – a dedicated bar, with drinks’ fridge, custom wine shelfing under a granite counter and mirror backing to celebrate the glasses and drinks’ selection on the open shelving. Easily accessed from all quarters, it’s a significant element that enhances this home’s entertainment value.

2.7m ceilings feature in the balance of the home, and bedrooms sit in separate wings. The master retreat boasts ample space, which includes a fitted walk-through dressing room. Its ensuite is pure luxury – fully tiled and heated underfoot - with a bath for peaceful indulgence, twin vanities with personal back-lit, tear-drop mirrors and open shower with double twin fixtures. Similar bathroom luxury in the family wing also provides another fully-tiled space with indulgent bath and twin vanities alongside the shower.

Innovation, detailed luxury and exquisite taste underpins this home and what it offers in terms of lifestyle. Add to that pre-wiring for a swimming pool and capacity for shedding allowed in the covenants; this is a landmark in every way.
