Create reasons to visit

Advertising Waikato and helping create Hamilton as a must visit location when in New Zealand. Waikato must be one of the easiest tree growing locations on the planet and we need to create a Botanic Garden City centred on Hamilton. And we need a performing arts centre that becomes the Waikato/Hamilton symbol that captures international attention and becomes a identifier such as the Sydney Opera House. It will be expansive and funding should be capturing support on a much wider scale than just Waikato/ Hamilton.

Rototuna, Peacockes and because of its infrastructure issues Rotokauri should be delayed. It also stated that to avoid any developer obtaining ‘‘monopoly profits’’ that three or more areas should be developed at the same time. Because HCC has failed to provide core infrastructure to multiple areas it has created the current section shortage and allowed monopoly profits to a selected few. With the change to the RMA due in November 2016 the council will have to take affordability as the number 1 priority ahead of infrastructure and planning rules.

$80,000 is only $10,000 more than the councillors’ annual remuneration, I thought all the councillors would have voted in support of this payment for the children of their employee.
