Sticks ’n Stones is a youth organisati­on founded in 2013 by

30 teenagers who, alongside chief executive Karla Sanders, volunteere­d to disrupt traditiona­l bullying prevention programmes that made decisions about young people without them and focused on one-off workshops or assembly presentati­ons.

Since then Sticks ’n Stones has continued to grow, with almost

500 young people now working together.
