the third-worst losing streak in Warriors history, behind two 11-game runs, which spanned the 2012 and 2013 and 2015 and 2016 seasons.
There is reason for optimism, however, in the fact that they are playing the Tigers, who they beat 16-12 in Sydney in round three in March.
The Tigers sit one place above the Warriors on the ladder, thanks only to their slightly superior point differential (–168 to –185).
Both teams have eight points, though two of the Tigers’ come from their bye, so they have one less win (three to four).
‘‘We’re expecting that they’ll
Warriors coach, above left come with everything,’’ Jones said of the Tigers.
‘‘They’re a team similar to us with where we are at the moment.
‘‘I know [former Warriors player] Ken Maumalo will be looking forward to this game and coming back and having a big one and they’ve got a few other Kiwi boys in the team too.’’
