Firearm incident

Police are investigating an incident involving a firearm in Te Aroha. Officers were called at 10.15am yesterday to a ‘‘report of an incident involving a firearm’’ at a property in Whitaker St, a statement from police said. A spokesperson said inquiries were ongoing. ‘‘The report was of a firearm having been presented to a person, not discharged. No injuries are reported.’’
