More guilty pleas

A man who used fake documents to secure a job as a doctor has admitted falsifying further documents and misleading a High Court judge.

appeared in the Manukau District Court yesterday, where he admitted 13 new charges, laid after Krishnan used fake documents in a bid to expunge minor driving charges from his criminal record. Judge Karen Grau remanded Krishnan on bail and set a sentencing date in February. Krishnan was stood down by Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau on August 1 after concerns were raised about his registration, and he was sacked on August 10.
