Woman burgled, assaulted

Police are seeking information after a woman was burgled and assaulted in her north Waikato home. Officers want to hear from anyone who was around Old Taupiri Rd in Ngāruawāhia on Tuesday, November 15, police said in a statement. The woman was left with serious injuries some time between 11am and 2pm. She was now recovering at home. Two men were believed to be involved, it said.
