Players should add up all the expenses

To those All Blacks contemplating going overseas, think again about how much the NZRU has spent on you for the last 10 years.

In many cases this would be from Roller Mills to All Black status.

You have had jerseys, rugby gear, travel, accommodation, etc. all paid by your club and provincial rugby union.

I take it that all these players must have signed some sort of contract with the NZRU.

Therefore a transfer fee could come into force and overseas clubs would pay back what was spent on the players concerned.

A signature is a contract and should be adhered to.
