Police across Waipa¯ District attended the following matters last week

CAMBRIDGE STATION

Police were contacted about vehicles parked in mobility parks at Leamington Domain. A number of stationary vehicle offence notices were issued.

Arrests: a man for disorderly behaviour and a man for driving with excess breath alcohol.

Police attended seven family harm-related incidents.

TE AWAMUTU STATION

A calf feeder was stolen from Lethbridge Rd. A chainsaw was stolen from Puahue Rd.

Police received reports of an attempted break-in at Brews liquor store in Kihikihi.

A garage was entered in Elizabeth Ave and a motorbike part stolen.

An empty shipping container was entered on Owairaka Valley Rd and nothing stolen.

A house was broken into on Pekerau Cres and an iPad and PS4 stolen.

Vehicles were broken into on Ballance St and George Melrose Drive.

Police received reports of a burglary on Cambridge Rd.

A truck was stolen from a Rewi St address and located on Frontier Rd.

A car was broken into on Taylor Ave and recovered on Factory Rd.

Police attended a single-car crash on Ohaupo¯ ¯ Rd.

Police attended a three-vehicle crash on Alexandra St. A driver distracted by his phone rear-ended the car in front which shunted another car in front.

Police received reports of a child left in parked vehicle outside a supermarke­t.

A customer drove away without paying for petrol at Mobil.

Three youths have been referred to youth aid for nine wilful damage incidents relating to throwing stones through windows of houses.

Five people were arrested for fighting and disorderly behaviour at Station 32.

Police received reports of three women assaulted by a man.

Police were called to an out-of-control party on Bridgman Rd. It was closed down due to a large number of teens fighting.

Arrests: Man for assaulting his partner, four men for breaching bail, woman on warrant to arrest and man for driving whilst forbidden.

Police attended seven family harm-related incidents.
