Police across Waipa¯ District attended the following matters last week

CAMBRIDGE STATION

A man was arrested for assaulting police after police attended a domestic dispute. The man fled on foot across farmland and through streams. He was located several kilometres away on farmland.

A small cannabis growing operation was located on Kaipaki Rd.

Cannabis plants were removed from a cornfield.

Tools were stolen from a house under constructi­on on Oliver Rd. A silver/grey Sedan was seen leaving the address.

A radar detector was stolen from a vehicle on Watkins Rd.

Two offenders were seen on CCTV entering a vehicle on Alphers Ridge.

Antlers and Black Bear skin were stolen from a shed on Cambridge Rd.

Arrests: Man on warrant to arrest, man for breaching bail, man for wilful damage, man for disorderly behaviour and man for driving with excess breath alcohol.

Five people were served driver licence suspension notices, losing their licences for three months.

TE AWAMUTU STATION

A drift trike, pram, TV and PS4 were stolen from Mutu St.

A police scanner and iPhone charger were stolen from Alexandra St.

A radar detector and cell phone were stolen from a vehicle on Alexandra St.

A garage was broken into on Whittaker Rd. A farm gate was stolen from Park Rd. A shed was broken into on Rewi St. Police received reports of shopliftin­g at PaperPlus and Postie Plus.

A person drove away from Z Rosetown without paying for petrol.

Police received reports of a suspicious vehicle on Pa¯ terangi Rd.

A window was smashed on Ohaupo¯ ¯ Rd. Rocks were thrown throw windows on Ma¯ hoe St.

Two males were seen running down Mutu St carrying kegs reportedly stolen from a licensed premises.

Arrests: Man for assault and wilful damage, man for disorderly behaviour and man on warrant to arrest.

A man was held in custody for detoxifica­tion.

A woman was charged for possession of methamphet­amine.

Police attended a crash on the corner of Vaile St and Roche St.

Police attended five family harm-related incidents, with one resulting in police issuing a Police Safety Order.
