Police across Waipa¯ District attended the following matters last week

CAMBRIDGE STATION

A driver was seen travelling 204 kmph through 30 kmph road works at the Tamahere off-ramp, travelling north. Police are working to locate the driver.

A driver had a medical event and crashed into a fence, power pole and house on Bowen St.

Police attended a two-car head-on crash on Morrinsvil­le Rd.

Police assisted with a vehicle collision and subsequent­ly arrested a man on drug-related charges.

Police responded to a report of wilful damage when a man knocked off a former colleague's wing mirror.

A man was arrested for breaching bail. A man was arrested for breaching bail. A young person ran away from home and was later located by police.

In separate incidents, two women's cars were impounded for driving whilst disqualifi­ed.

Police responded to seven family harm-related incidents.

TE AWAMUTU STATION

An intoxicate­d driver was arrested after crashing into a power pole on Cambridge Rd.

A disqualifi­ed driver was arrested and their vehicle impounded on Teasdale St.

A car crashed into a drain on Park Rd after the driver lost control.

Te Awamutu police assisted in the pursuit of a vehicle in Hamilton. The offender was located by dogs and a helicopter in a stream and arrested.

A man was summonsed to court for driving with excess breath alcohol.

A woman stole chocolates from Pak'nSave.

A car was broken into outside The Woolshed Theatre and a handbag stolen.

A man was arrested after stealing petrol from a constructi­on company.

A window was smashed at Te Awamutu Marist.

Tools and paint were stolen from a building site on Whitmore St.

A handbag and items were stolen from the Te Awamutu Events Centre.

A man and woman were seen entering The Warehouse after they had been trespassed from the premises.

An overheated car was broken into. A phone was stolen from a house. Police attended a theft and disorder incident outside Firkin Sports Bar when a man tried to steal cigarette butts from an ashtray.

$50 worth of fuel was stolen from Z Energy, Sloane St.

$20 worth of fuel was stolen from Z Energy, Sloane St.

A car was broken into at FreshChoic­e. A man and woman stole $450 worth of toys from The Warehouse.

A vehicle was stolen from Kihikihi Rd. A vehicle was stolen from Puniu Rd. Two men were arrested on a warrant to arrest in separate incidents.

Police attended a common assault complaint at Star Tavern.

Police responded to 19 family harm-related incidents.
