CAMBRIDGE STATION

Police attended three family harm-related incidents.

Swimmers located a double barrell shotgun in the water by the Piarere Water Ski Club.

Police found an unconsciou­s man on Burns St who had fallen from his wheelchair.

A number of houses had their power boxes turned off.

Arrests: Male charged with assault. Male for breach of protection order and unlawful possession of a firearm. Male arrested after a domestic violence incident, he was also found to be in possession of a taser. Male for breaching bail.

Trespass: Four people from local florists shop for suspected stealing.

Vehicle incidents: Minor vehicle crash on Victoria St and Alpha St after one vehicle failed to give way, there were no injuries. Single car crash on Norfolk Dr, no injuries.

TE AWAMUTU STATION

Police attended 16 family harm-related incidents.

An elderly man will have his drivers license provoked after he was found driving around roundabout­s the wrong way.

Police assisted ambulance with an intoxicate­d and unconsciou­s male on the side of a road. The male was subsequent­ly arrested on breach of bail.

Female charged with refusing to undergo breath testing procedures.

Three youths were found on the constructi­on site next to KFC.

Arrests: Male on warrant to arrest and is facing further charges of driving while disqualifi­ed. Male for a petrol theft drive-off.

Burglaries: A chainsaw was stolen from a property on Atkinson St. Red Air Jordan shoes were stolen from a Gleneagles Dr property. A leather jacket was stolen from a property on Pirongia Rd. A large amount of weed mat was stolen from Landscape Supply Co. on Benson Rd.

Theft: A blue rucksack containing a cellphone and credit cards was stolen from a vehicle on Coran Rd. A cell phone was left in the toilets at Lake Ngāroto, when the owner went back for it the cellphone was gone. A Honda quad bike was stolen from Pā terangi Rd. Petrol theft drive-off from Z Energy on Sloane St. A black Nissan Primera was stolen from Ōhaupō Rd near McFall Rd, number plate GQS241. A black 1989 Kawasaki motorcycle was stolen from a Mandeno St property, number plate B9TFG. A whistler radar detector was stolen from a vehicle on Walton St. A portable trot, an alkathene pipe and an electric fence reel with tape was stolen from an animal shelter on Parry St in Pirongia. Over a two-week period three wheel emblems have been stolen off of a Mini Cooper at an Arapuni Rd property. Shopliftin­g reported at Pak’n Save. Shopliftin­g reported at Warehouse Stationary. A male and two females stole a Veon sound-bar from The Warehouse. Two females reported to have stolen $200 worth of food from Pak’n Save.

Vehicle incidents: A car was broken into in Cactus Court, the offender has been caught on CCTV. A vehicle hit a tree on Waipapa Rd in Wharepapa South, there were no injuries.
