Police across Waipa¯ District attended the following matters last week

CAMBRIDGE STATION

Police attended six family harm-related incidents.

Burglaries: A property on Noel St was broken into. A firearm safe containing a shotgun and a rifle was stolen from a property in St Kilda. There was a break-in at the Lions Shed. There was also a break-in at the Cambridge Football Club.

Arrests: Male arrested for a historic theft matter. Male arrested for driving while suspended. Male arrested for breaching bail.

Theft: Police recovered a stolen vehicle on Tunakawa Rd, the vehicle was stolen from Hamilton in January . A man reported that his vehicle had been stolen by his friend.

Driving matters: A male was summoned to court for driving while disqualifi­ed and sustain loss of traction. Male processed for drink-driving, he blew 388. Male summoned to court for loss of traction after doing a burn-out in front of a police car, his vehicle was also impounded.

Shopliftin­g: A male was warned and trespassed for shopliftin­g at Cambridge New World.

TE AWAMUTU STATION

Police attended 10 family harm-related incidents.

Police received reports of a white vehicle travelling along Te Rahu Rd knocking over recycling bins and damaging road signs.

Vehicles were reported to be doing burn-outs near Goodfellow St and Cactus Ct.

A homeowner was disturbed by a male in motorbike gear who was in her garage on her Herbert St property.

Vehicle incidents: Police pursued a ¯vehicle that failed to stop, the pursuit ended in Ohaupo¯ where the female driver crashed the vehicle. She was arrested and will appear in court, there were no injuries. A women crashed her vehicle into a truck after falling asleep, she and her 2-year-old son were taken to Waikato Hospital.

Arrests: Male arrested for threatenin­g behaviour. Male arrested for trespassin­g. Female arrested for breaching bail. Male arrested for trespassin­g at The Warehouse, he later ran away from Police and he is yet to be located again. Male arrested for threatenin­g to shoot his neighbours. Male arrested breaching bail.

Theft: A Suzuki SV650 motorbike, a helmet, a jacket and boots were stolen from a garage on Herbert St, number plate A6YBW. A Nissan Sentra was stolen from Mandeno St, number plate WC3506. A radar detector was stolen from a vehicle on Fairview Rd. There were six reports of petrol-theft drive-offs from Z Energy. Someone attempted to steal a vehicle in Douglas Ave, they damaged the ignition. It appears someone attempted to steal petrol from two vehicles on George St, they have tried to open the vehicles petrol flaps. A handbag was stolen from a vehicle parked at the Te Awamutu Cemetery. A handbag was stolen from a vehicle on Bygrave Pl.

Burglaries: A kids battery powered motorbike was stolen from a Whitmore St property. A camera was stolen from the Te Awamutu Bible Chapel after someone broke in. A race car, in the process of being built, a go-kart and power tools were taken from a Whittaker St property. A shed on Waimanu Rd was broken into and fuel was taken.

Shopliftin­g: Two males were caught shopliftin­g from Countdown, when approached by a staff member one of the males threatened to cut them. A female has been trespassed from Countdown for shopliftin­g.
