FROM THE EDITOR
What a difference an hour makes. I must be a rarity in that the end of Daylight Savings actually makes me happy. I’ve always been a morning person, so the extra hour at the beginning of the day suits me just fine.
I know it won’t last, and it’s the harbinger of darker days but for the meantime, I’m making the most of it.
And it’s astonishing just how much you can get done in an hour. By the time midday rolls around, I feel like I’ve already had a whole day to get stuff done, and the next eight or nine hours are bonus time.
Which does make me wonder about the whole concept of time. Why have I not added that extra hour myself and just got on and got things done?
Why do we need an event or a deadline or a new year to get motivated?
So my challenge this week is to reset my own clock, and make the most of every single hour I’ve got, not just the extra one I’ve got at the beginning of the day.
