Camp Glenorchy opens on 15 March 2018 and is a scenic 40-minute drive from Queen­stown of­fer­ing in­di­vid­ual trav­ellers, cou­ples and fam­i­lies an op­por­tu­nity to hol­i­day with na­ture. Guests can stay in cab­ins, multi-bed bunkhuts or pow­ered camper­van/RV sites. Camp Glenorchy has been de­signed ac­cord­ing to the Liv­ing Build­ing Chal­lenge, the high­est level of sus­tain­abil­ity stan­dards in the world. Use of so­lar pan­els and an on­site en­ergy and wa­ter man­age­ment sys­tem as­sist in us­ing 50% less en­ergy and wa­ter than sim­i­lar fa­cil­i­ties.
