Walk through the Sculpture in the Gardens exhibition

-

The Sculpture in the Gardens exhibition will be on from 11 December 2021 to 3 April 2022 with outdoor sculptures along a 1.7km trail through the beautiful Auckland Botanic Gardens. The exhibition is free and open to everyone. As well outdoor sculptures, there is an indoor gallery with numerous small works on display and for sale. The organisers expect 300,000 to 400,000 visitors through the gardens during the exhibition. The walk is an easy walk for most people, with mobility options available. Remember to bring your mask and physical distance. Also bring a drink and a sun hat - it gets hot on the trail!

Make sure you vote for your favourite sculpture in the People’s Choice Award, where the winning artist is decided by public vote.

There are also videos to watch about the artists and kids activities.

All visitors attending the Auckland Botanic Gardens are asked to observe the Government guidelines on physical distancing, face coverings and use the NZ COVID Tracer app.

The visitor centre and Cafe Miko are open. A vaccination pass will be required to enter the visitor centre and Cafe Miko for anyone aged 12 years 3 months and over, unless they have a medical exemption approved by the Ministry of Health. Please have your vaccine pass ready to present to the team when you visit.
